AFE FOAL SHOW - AACHEN 2026

THE CONCEPT

Arabian Futurity Europe (AFE) will return in 2026 with a new and clearly focused concept. While Europe today offers numerous high prize events for older horses, there is still no true prize money platform for foals. This is exactly the gap AFE aims to fill.

The AFE Foal Show 2026 will take place in late September.

Eligible to participate are all Arabian foals born in Europe between January 1 and August 20, 2026, regardless of the sire.

No entry fees apply for nominated starting slots.

Prize money eligibility applies exclusively to foals from nominated starting slots, regardless of who is the owner or lessee of the foal at the time of the event.

Farm Nomination

A farm becomes nominated through the successful purchase of a breeding service at one of the following auctions:

EBT Online Auctions (weekly, December-April)
AFE Online Auction (late February)
EBT Aachen Auction (late September)

With a successful bid, the farm of the buyer & seller is considered nominated and receives a starting slot for the Foal Show.

Prize Money

The three highest placed foals with a nominated starting slot will receive prize money:

Main Competition:

1st place: € 10,000

2nd place: € 6,500

3rd place: € 3,500

Additional Competitions:

If 10 or more filly foals or 10 or more colt foals are entered, a separate competition will be held for each, with a € 20,000 prize money budget per class.

Arabian Futurity Europe remains, also in 2026, a project by breeders, for breeders - fair, transparent and clearly focused on the future of Arabian horse breeding.
